Adelaide Paringa does not pretend to be a luxury hotel and not all of us want that. If you are on a budget this is a sensational hotel in a sensational location. Step out of the hotel and you find yourself in Gilbert Place, look left; you see the famous Pancake Kitchen, walk right a few metres and step on to nightlife hotspot "Hindley Street". On the corner is a great cafe from there a short walk sees you on the famous Bee Hive Corner. Festival Centre, Cricket Ground, Rundle Mall and notable CBD landmarks and parks are all in walking distance. The hotel can help organise tours and shuttle to the airport. Heather on the front desk was fantastic. We arrived late and the intercom support for the after hours entry was brilliant. There was a small issue with the bathroom and the hotel responded promptly in the morning when I requested service. The room was clean and comfortable and equipped with iron and the standard hotel fare. You can semi self cater, down stairs is a toaster and a microwave that can be accessed during staffed reception hours. Bring your own bread and butter etc.

The room had 2 desks, and a couple of chairs, and no issues with WiFi, which made it great for us when we needed to do a bit of work. We were provided with more than the essentials, having a mini fridge, an iron and ironing board, towels, shampoo, and everything you need to make tea or coffee. The staff were also accommodating when contacted about last minute changes. For the discounted price, the location was great, as it was only a 5 minute walk from the convention centre, and ultimately a great place to sleep (the beds were well made and not firm) and shower at, if you weren't picky about the details.

Surprised how much I loved my stay here as for the price I wasn’t expecting anything special and have been often since. The rooms are all different in their layout and it’s really quirky and definitely a fun place to try out even just to see the building! The staff were really warm and friendly and having visited adelaide often they were definitely the best reception team I’ve ever experienced which mades staying here super comfortable as opposed to the usually very slow and unfriendly reception staff elsewhere. Stay here!

THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS BEAUTIFUL 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 we could not have loved her more!!! We traveled from the Barossa for festivals over the weekend and she was so kind every morning and night giving us lots of beautiful compliments and was so lovely to every single person that walked through the doors she made us feel a million percent welcome and safe at all times. I couldn’t get her name but from dates 6th-8th of Jan she was working the front desk, we loved her xxxx

Excellent location in the heart of Adelaide CBD. Walking distance to many sights, eating, and shopping facilities. Good transport connections. Although the building is dated, and the hotel not lavishly decorated, the room is clean and very spacious, with a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. WiFi is fast. On the whole, good value for money.
